J. Martin Scholtz, Vice President for Research, stresses the importance of disclosing foreign research activities in a reminder posted on February 17, 2020.

"To protect the reputation and the integrity of our research in the face of foreign influence concerns, we must ensure that we all follow university policies, agency rules, and federal laws governing appropriate uses of funding and laboratory space, the sharing of data, and potential conflicts of interest and commitment."
