Navigating the funding landscape

 

The Office of the Vice President for Research & Economic Development and the Division of Sponsored Programs are sponsoring an informational session for researchers next month about Department of Defense funding for health research.

 

Lewis-Burke Associates, UI’s Washington-based federal research and education consulting firm, will discuss the Department of Defense’s health research programs by agency. They will review the trends and priorities in DOD health programs, and will address the following questions:

·         How does working with DOD differ from other research agencies?

·         What are the best points of contact for faculty in approaching DOD health?

·         What messages best resonate with DOD health officials?
