The National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA) produces excellent webinar series on many topics, including the Life Cycle of the Award series. The Division of Sponsored Programs (DSP) and the Grant Accounting Office (GAO) have procured a license to share the series for internal training purposes at UI. You may view any or all of the webinars at your convenience on your UI computer.

Life Cycle of the Award components:

• Pre-Award/Budgeting (three parts; 90 minutes each)
• Proposal Development (three parts; 90 minutes each)
• Award Negotiation and Acceptance (three parts; 90 minutes each)
• Award Monitoring/Management (two parts; two hours each)
• Compliance (two parts; two hours each)

To access the webinar main folder, go to this link, and, after logging in with your HawkID and password, click on the folder for the series labeled "NCURA Life Cycle of the Award." Once in the folder, you will notice that the webinars are in subfolders related to each topic in the life cycle, and the videos appear in the subfolders in MP4 format. Use these links to view each webinar part. The folders also contain useful documents such as slide presentations and templates. 

If you do not use Sharepoint regularly, you may see a Microsoft login screen. Simply put in your HawkID (ex: jane-doe@uiowa.edu) and then your password.
