Re: New contract review process applicable to proposals previously routed through DSP
Effective immediately when the Division of Sponsored Programs (DSP) receives an agreement from outside the University related to a proposal previously routed through our office, we will provide you with an opportunity to review and comment on the scope of work, budget, and other contract terms. We ask that you review your agreement within two business days of being notified by our office via e-mail. The agreement will be attached to the email. The e-mail will include the DSP reviewer contact information.
If you send previously routed agreements directly to DSP, please include a transmittal note indicating your review and approval. Agreements received in this manner will not be returned to you for review; upon receipt we will process these agreements for review, negotiation and signature.
If the agreement includes a budget that is different than the budget that was previously routed, please submit a revised budget to DSP. If you have questions or concerns, or need additional time (more than two business days) for review, please contact DSP.
If we do not hear from you within two business days, we will complete the review. Upon our review, if the scope of work and budget appear to be equivalent in the proposal and the agreement, we will proceed with negotiation of standard terms and execution of the agreement without additional contact with the PI.
