The University of Iowa community now has the option to search the Pivot funding database. Click here to access.

The Pivot funding database is available to the University of Iowa community at https://pivot.proquest.com/funding_main.  What is Pivot? Pivot is an easy-to-use searchable database that provides information on funding opportunities from federal, non-federal, foundation, corporate, and other private sponsors across all disciplines. Pivot also identifies researcher expertise within or outside the University to help connect with potential collaborators.

Pivot Training Sessions

Virtual training sessions on using Pivot are offered by the Research Development Office RDO

Request Administrative Privileges
Research support personnel can request access to Pivot administrative privileges through UI Universal Workflow. Administrative privileges with Pivot will allow personnel to identify funding opportunities and create newsletters, edit profiles, add internal notes to funding opportunities, and more.

Click here to complete the Universal Workflow request form. (Note: a brief business justification for each selected option must be provided for approval.) Once completed, the request will route to your supervisor and then the Research Development Office RDO (please let your supervisor know to expect this form). Once approved, your Pivot account will be granted administrative privileges within 24 hours. Contact VPR-RDO@uiowa.edu if you have questions.
