The revised rates for F&A (Facilities & Administrative) costs for the University of Iowa are now available. These rates are used for sponsored projects and will go into effect starting on July 1, 2022, and will remain in effect through June 30, 2026.

The University's F&A cost-reimbursement rates (the rates for reimbursing institutional overhead and other expenses associated with sponsored projects) are determined through extensive calculation and formal negotiation with the federal government. The revised rates have been established and are available on the Financial Analysis website.
